The Ministry of Justice is convening a two-day multi-disciplinary dialogue from September 4th to 6th, 2024, at Hotel Asmara Palace. This session will concentrate on Justice, Development, and the Geopolitics of the Horn of Africa. With the participation of both local and international experts, as well as stakeholders, the objective of this dialogue is to facilitate the exchange of experiences among those who possess a profound understanding of the geopolitical dynamics in the Horn of Africa.
I commend the Ministry of Justice for organizing this event. I hope it yields fruitful results. Beyond the usual perspectives, it’s important to recognize and appreciate diverse viewpoints and approaches. I also hope that the countries of the Horn of Africa will come to understand and embrace their autonomy over their own situations and futures. Such gatherings will help embed these ideas deeply in people’s minds.
